I got amazing value for my money at Hostel Market - a cheap price for a great room with comfortable beds. The location was perfect, right in the city center, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Plus, the kitchen and terrace on the top floor were a fantastic addition.

The morning meal could have been better with more variety.

The communal space was cozy and inviting, with a small lounge area perfect for relaxing and chatting with fellow travelers. It felt like a home away from home.

Not a very social hostel, not many opportunities to meet other travelers and do activities together. The lockers were unreliable, mine didn't work and I didn't feel safe storing my belongings.

The hostel's rooftop terrace had a great city view. Convenient location in Porto center, close to tram station and the old town. Staff were friendly, helpful, and understanding when I accidentally returned my key bracelet late. No fee was charged.

We stayed at a hostel really close to a main tram station and the old town. The staff were friendly and explained the accommodation well. The bracelet swipe cards were very handy and hard to lose. We were lucky to have a female dorm that was a real room with walls and a door, unlike the main mixed dorm with glass walls. The beds were extremely comfy. The decoration of the whole hostel was nice and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a view over the city.
